Meet the Founder - Dr Sidra Jamil
“Doctors don’t just need medical knowledge — they need leadership to create real change.” Dr. Sidra Jamil
For over 15 years, I worked inside healthcare systems across different countries, and one truth became painfully clear to me: our healthcare systems are broken, not just at the bedside but in the way, hospitals are managed. Think about it: every other business requires MBAs or trained managers to run the business effectively. Yet healthcare, arguably the most critical business in society, is often left in the hands of brilliant doctors and nurses who’ve never been given the tools of management, leadership, or financial literacy.
I lived that struggle myself. Every day felt like firefighting without a map, watching patients suffer and teams burn out. That frustration became my turning point. I worked relentlessly, saved, and pursued an MBA at the University of Liverpool, followed by a deep dive into understanding Public Health. That experience transformed me. It shifted my perspective from micro to macro, from merely seeing departmental issues to uncovering their root causes. With medicine as my foundation, business as my framework, and public health as my lens, I’ve built a rare 360° view of healthcare. Together they’ve given me the tools, language, and insight to understand healthcare not just as medicine, but as a living system that must be managed, led, and innovated.
But here’s the reality: most healthcare professionals will never have the chance to do what I did. They don’t have the time, money, or resources to pursue a non-traditional path. And yet, they carry the enormous responsibility of managing hospitals, clinics, and patientcare every day.
That’s why I laid foundation of Mentors Hub- A platform built for those who need them the most: the ones caring for patients every day. My mission is simple: to equip doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals with the leadership, productivity, and personal skills they were never taught in medical school. Because when healthcare workers are empowered, patients thrive, families are supported, and entire healthcare system grows stronger.
But I also know this truth: I can’t change healthcare alone. One person can spark a movement, but it takes a community to transform a system. Join me at Mentors Hub and together, we will empower healthcare workers and ultimately build a healthier future for patients everywhere.
